The game 7-Card Stud, unlike Texas Holdem or Omahas, do not have community cards, each player gets their own cards, which must create the strongest poker hand. At the beginning of all players pay the ante (in principle, there are no Stud games without ante). Then each player gets two cards face down (their value is only known to their “owner”) and one discovered card, which is seen by all the other players. At this point, the player with the lowest card (count colors) pay so-called bring in – mandatory entrance to the pool. Subsequent players clockwise decide whether pass (Fold), offset (Call) or break (raise).
After finishing the auction, each of the other players in the game again gets one card face up. This time auction begins the highest unveiled the system. Then the players get a third card face up, and after another round of bidding the fourth card face up. After the auction there is the last hand and each player receive one card dealt. Every time a player opens the bidding, which has currently the highest unveiled the system. After the deal in total of 7 cards (3 covered and uncovered 4) following the last round of betting.
The game 7-Card Stud is usually in the form Fixed Limit, but you can also find the place where the game is Pot Limit.
7-card Stud Hi/Lo
This is a game which has the same rules as the 7-Card Stud with the difference that the best hand wins 50% of the pool and the best qualifying low hand wins the second 50%.
Low system to qualify must be no higher than 8 and does not include the pair. This means that low system qualify for the sharing of a pool of his highest card must be 5, 6, 7 or 8. The winning low system is calculated by comparing the highest card. If two players have the same highest card, taking into account another card and so down to the lowest card. Any system that includes 9 or higher card does not qualify as the lowest hand. As a low system can also play straights and colors.
If there is no the low hand then the highest hand wins 100% of the pool.
